The vampires burst into the courtroom and tore the two Cleavers, who had been guarding the door, to shreds. The crowd began to scream as the vampires plunged into the mass of people who had gathered to see Jack’s trial. The four Cleavers who’d been containing Jack charged at the vampires. Cautiously Jack stepped out of the pew he was standing in and stooped down to pick up one of the fallen Cleavers scythes. Striding forward Jack started to slice through anyone who was in his way, vampires and sorcerers alike. Slowly he sliced his way towards the door, until eventually he managed to get out of the body filled hall. Entering the corridor outside of the hall Jack saw a mimic of the scene in the court room He began to sprint though the blood filled Sanctuary; he turned a corner and then bumped into a vampire.
He wasn’t in his vampire form, but the sharp features on his face, his high cheekbones, and his slightly pointed, claw-like fingernails identified him as a vampire. The vampire smashed him in the face, knocking him to the ground, breaking his nose. The vampire bent down and inserted his fangs into Jacks neck, ripping a gash into his neck. “My name is Dusk; you will come to find me in three days,”
And then he was gone, Jack staggered to his feet and stumbled to the entrance to the Sanctuary, which was hanging on its hinges. He stumbled into the graffiti filled alley that was outside the Sanctuary and curled up behind a dustbin clutching his neck.
