Alone in a big, big flat
Jack couldn’t believe his luck; he hadn’t even had to make a diversion. The girl and the detective had split up to look for the murderer who they were after and now the girl was on her own. As he followed after her he thought of how he could capture he, the obvious way would be to knock her out by sending her flying with the magic of air, but that had never been Jacks style, it was too delicate, too easy to get wrong. No what he would do is incapacitate her with a swift punch to the head, that ought to do the trick. Silently stalking her through the dank corridors of the flat he watched as she entered another room; this is my chance he thought, as he followed her in quietly closing the door behind him. As soon as he entered he knew it was a trap, the obvious give away was the fact that Skulduggery Pleasant, The Skeleton Detective, was standing directly in front of him,
“Ah Jack long time no see, how are you.”
“Not too bad, and I’ll feel a lot better when you’re lying dead at my feet!” said Jack.
“Yes, well I’d love to help you out, my old friend, but you see, me dying would be very inconvenient today because tomorrow I’ve a very important meeting with my friend Ghastly.”
“Well I’m sorry to be of inconvenience.” said Jack as he lunged at Skulduggery. And just as he wrapped his hands around he skeletons skull a metal pole connected with his head.
oooooo suspense more please!
